Note:
Each of our razor was manually honed and inspected before delivery, but we can not make sure it is 100 percent shave ready, some of our customers says it is shave ready some not, so it is depends on your expectation and thickness of your beard. If you feel it is not sharp enough for you, please just make some more passes on a good strop to make closer shaving.
It is not difficult and there are videos on YouTube to teach you how to do it correctly, normally need 50 passes on canvas and 50 on leather. Somebody may think that is a little bit more, but it’s our face, it does not take more than few minutes and it works. Shaving with a straight razor is about taking your time, spending it on yourself, paying attention to detail and the looking good after you’re finished.

If you are newbie for straight razor, we strongly suggest you to learn how to keep the blade sharpness by a strop, please make sure you watch a video to learn how to use it properly, and you should master some skills on how to keep the blade sharp, so you can enjoy the perfect shaving experience continuously, improper use can hurt the blade.

Instruction for Shaving
Oftening hair by water or wet towel, then apply some shaving cream on your skin.
Keep the angle of blade and skin about 25 to 35 degrees.
Keep your skin as tension as possible.
Shave against the direction of hair growth.
After shaving each time, keep the blade clean and dry with rag.
Have a good strop to keep the blade sharp.

How to Sharpen Your Razor Blade When it Getting Dull
Keep touching tightly
Keep the blade touching tightly with the strop as show on the picture
Start from one end to another
Start from one end of the strop to another end, keep toching tightly when moving, moderate force
Turn over the blade and back
When the blade reach the end of the strop, then turn over the blade and move back, keep toching tightly when moving, moderate force. Normally, we need do this for around 50 times
Sharpen by Stone
If the strop is not work effectively after long time use, you can use a stone to hone the blade, however, this is not a easy job, it is could hurt your blade by improper operation, we suggest you to learn from some vedio or ask for help from specialist
